💻 The Role
Location: Shenzhen, China (Hybrid) - This position will report to our China office.
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of the production coordination (PC) team, ensuring efficient communication and resolution of issues related to order fulfillment, factory management, system operations, and cost control. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual capable of managing cross-functional teams, driving cost-saving initiatives, performing cost and margin analysis, and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain.
What You’ll Do:
1. Team Management and Leadership
- Assist in the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of the PC team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of team members, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in alignment with company standards and objectives.
- Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to foster team development and operational excellence.
2. Order Management and Communication
- Supervise the daily follow-up of orders, providing timely guidance and resolution of issues as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service, Sales, and Design teams to address urgent and critical orders.
- Monitor the status of important orders, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation of issues.
- Deliver consistent feedback and instructions related to mockups and order processing to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
3. System Operations and Oversight
- Manage the creation of factory profiles and user setups within the system for both PC and factory users.
- Provide comprehensive training to users to ensure they are proficient in system operations.
- Assist with the movement or shifting of orders as necessary, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to production timelines.
- Report any system-related bugs or issues to IT, Production Management, or New Product Development teams for resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely provision of shipping addresses when required.
4. Cost and Margin Analysis, Cost Saving Initiatives
- Conduct detailed cost and margin analysis to identify areas of inefficiency and potential cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve margins without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the finance team to track and report on cost-saving initiatives and ensure alignment with company financial objectives.
5. Management of Redo and Refund Processes
- Facilitate the processing and monitoring of redo and refund requests, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
- Perform thorough cross-checking and engage in negotiations to resolve discrepancies related to redo/refund accountability.
- Compile and disseminate daily and weekly reports on redo/refund statuses, collecting feedback and remarks from the PC team for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans for addressing identified issues and improving factory and PC performance.
6. Factory Negotiations and Relations
- Assist in complex negotiations involving pricing, redoes, refunds, and penalties to protect the company's interests.
- Support the monitoring and communication of factory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with performance targets.
- Contribute to factory sourcing and onboarding procedures, ensuring new partners meet company standards and requirements.
- Conduct periodic factory visits as necessary to maintain strong working relationships and ensure operational standards are being met.
7. Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake special projects or tasks as assigned by senior management, which may include translation and coordination efforts across teams.
- Maintain availability and responsiveness outside of regular working hours, including during holidays, to address urgent or emergency situations that may arise.
8. Build and Maintain Product Knowledge Base
-Develop and manage a product knowledge base that includes product features, functions, limitations, and care instructions.
- Work with the Product Development and Design teams to keep the knowledge base updated with product changes and new releases.
- Regularly check and update care instructions and product limitations to ensure accuracy.
- Train team members on how to use the knowledge base to make better decisions in order fulfillment, factory communication, and customer service.
- Ensure that product care instructions and limitations are clearly communicated across all customer-facing materials.
- Continuously update the product knowledge to reflect any product improvements or changes.
About You:
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
- Experience with factory management, order coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cost and margin analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
- Availability for on-call duties during off-hours and holidays.
- Strong understanding of product specifications, limitations, and care instructions, and the ability to simplify this information for internal teams.
- Experience in building and maintaining knowledge bases or similar systems.
- Ability to train team members and ensure they’re well-informed about product details.

返工与退款管理
跟进返工和退款流程,确保及时准确

提供相关报告并向团队反馈
工厂关系与谈判
参与价格、返工、退款及罚款等谈判
监控工厂KPI并确保达标
协助工厂开发与入驻,定期拜访维护关系
产品知识库建设
建立和维护产品知识库(功能、限制、保养说明等)
培训团队有效使用知识库,提高决策和客户服务质量
岗位要求
3年以上生产管理或供应链管理经验
有团队管理与跨部门协作经验
熟悉工厂管理、订单协调及系统操作
有成本分析及降本增效经验
具备优秀的沟通、谈判、解决问题能力
能适应快节奏、多任务环境
可在节假日或非工作时间紧急待命
有产品知识库建设经验者优先
